​​BCN Video Equipment Contracts

The Department of Administration has two distinct contracts for video conference equipment.

Distance Learning Audio and Video Equipment, Installation, Maintenance and Training Contract 505ENT-W08-DISTLEARN-01

This contract provides for purchase of audio/video equipment plus optional video room integration services with the network vendor being responsible for provisioning and maintaining the service on BCN.  This contract must be used by State agency, UW System, Technical College, K-12 Education and authorized users with BCN Managed Video Service.

State agencies with BCN Managed WAN or Managed WAN HPLL Service must purchase audio/video equipment with optional integration services from this contract.

State agencies using unmanaged BCN network bandwidth may elect to use this contract or 505ENT-M12-CONFREQUIP-01 Polycom and Cisco Video Conferencing Equipment and Services (see below).

State agencies requiring two-way interactive video via the public Internet must purchase equipment from contract 505ENT-M12-CONFREQUIP-01 Polycom and Cisco Video Conferencing Equipment and Services (see below).

PolyCom and Cisco Video Conferencing Equipment and Services 

Contract 505ENT-M12-CONFREQUIP-01

The scope of this contract includes Polycom, Cisco and legacy Tandberg video conferencing equipment and related services to be provided throughout the State of Wisconsin.  This use of this contract is mandatory for all state agencies and UW campuses.

This contract also includes, an optional category, ancillary equipment and accessories that SKC is able to source from various manufacturers in conjunction with video conferencing equipment in order to complete a room integration project (e.g. monitors, cameras, miscellaneous cabling and audio visual carts).  The purchase of these ancillary components may only be made when purchasing video conferencing equipment included in the scope.

The related services for this contract includes items such as on-site training, maintenance, trouble-shooting, installation and minor integration consulting for the equipment purchased.  Services do not include any software, web or audio conferencing services.
