SERVICE DESCRIPTION

Division of Enterprise Technology (DET) staff will provide customers with agency Local Area Network (LAN) services, which includes equipment, maintenance, support, and network software.  Service pricing is on a per port basis.  The agency LAN service is available to agencies that subscribe to DET Managed Services.

DET offers Local Area Network (LAN) service at each data center. The data center LAN service provides a managed network and virtual firewall infrastructure for a monthly per port fee and one-time setup charge. The data center LAN service is available to agencies that subscribe to DET Managed Services. The Local Area Network (LAN) Service Offering Definition (SOD) describes the LAN service in detail. The Local Area Network (LAN) Roles and Responsibilities (R&R) document delineates how specific responsibilities are divided between DET and agencies.

PRICE

A count of active ports for each agency will be collected daily, averaged and billed on a monthly basis through the Enterprise Billing System. Please see the DET Rate Sheet for complete rate information.
