Can staff have address books transferred from one wireless device to another at a contracted vendor’s retail store?

Yes, at no charge subject to the following conditions:

  • Employees must identify themselves to retail store staff as State employees with service obtained via the State's contract.
  • Contracted vendors have a mix of official retail stores and authorized resellers. Authorized resellers may charge for transferring address books, so it's important that employees confirm they're dealing with an official retail store and that no charge will apply before the work is done.
  • Questions regarding locations of official retail stores should be directed to contracted vendor representatives.
  • Retail store activity is strictly limited for State employees to transferring address books

Can I purchase equipment, arrange for repair, etc., at a contracted vendor's retail store?

Except for the limited transferring of address books as described above, no, all activity relating to the State's contract with wireless vendors must be handled via authorized contacts listed within Vendor Information links on this page.
